The time has come.
We’ve been avoiding it.
And now?
Oh, hayyyyyyyy…..
…did you happen to notice these cool string thingies hanging from the underside of your antique chair?…….
And you know we are just one step (ha) away from full on crawling.
It may not happen tomorrow but he has already figured out how to GET. EVERYWHERE. FAST.
Before he really started getting around, in my brain I was like, “He won’t be the kid who uses rolling as his mode of transportation. Pshhh…”
In reality?
That’s my boy.
He rolls everywhere.
He starts in the middle of the family room floor and ends up in the hallway. In the kitchen. On the other side of the family room next to the coffee table.
And he rolls because he has yet to figure out and/or develop the strength needed to get this amount of girth, um, off the floor.
So, mama’s – Help? Tips? Best things you baby proofed that you didn’t think you needed to “proof?”
I’m pretty sure I know I need to cover up dangerous things and cords and heavy objects within arms reach and such but…what about the more, um, non-obvious things?
