I honestly never thought I’d have to get a 10 lb bag of flour put away as soon as I got home from the grocery store. Um, well, when Riley had been walking for about 2 weeks, he carried it in to my living room, approximately 30 feet. So, lesson here, put ALL the groceries away right away. Btw, Riley only weighed 18 lbs when he did that.

Just keep in mind that you’ll need to do another round of kid-proofing when he learns to read. There’s nothing like the moment your first grader asks (after sneaking into your room and digging in to the drawer beside the bed), “Mommy, what does KY spell?”

I’m not a mom but… chords on heavy things, tape them tight to their surface or move them where little fists can’t pull. like lamps on tables, dvd players, etc. also, pool noodles cut in half make great bumpers for tables and furniture.
